Top-Mount vs. Under-Mount
A top-mount sink drops into a cutout with a visible rim resting on the benchtop — the simpler, more affordable installation, and the only option on several of our larger E-series models, which fit 500mm to 800mm base units. Our AN-series sinks, including the most compact model in the range, are more flexible and available in either top-mount or under-mount. An under-mount sink is fixed beneath the benchtop for a seamless, rim-free look, available where the benchtop material supports it.
Sink FAQ
Should I choose a single-bowl or double-bowl sink?
A single large bowl gives you more room for oversized pots and trays and suits a compact kitchen with limited bench width. A double bowl lets you separate washing and prep (or wash and drain) at the same time, and suits a wider bench where you're not tight on space.
What's the difference between top-mount and under-mount sinks?
A top-mount sink sits on top of the benchtop with a visible rim, and is the simpler, more affordable installation. An under-mount sink sits beneath the benchtop for a seamless look with no visible rim, giving a cleaner finish but requiring a benchtop material that supports it.
What sink material do you supply?
Stainless steel and composite, in single and double-bowl configurations, each supplied with a designer waste and overflow for a straightforward install.
What size sink fits my cabinetry?
Our range fits base units from 250mm up to 900mm wide, so the right sink size depends on your available cabinetry width — our design team will match the sink to your specific layout during design.
Is sink installation coordinated with my benchtop and tap?
Yes — our own installers handle plumbing, benchtop cutouts, and tap placement together in one process, rather than leaving it for a separate trade to coordinate.
