Kitchen Design & Renovations in Dunedin

SERVING DUNEDIN

Kitchen Design & Renovations in Dunedin.

Dunedin's rich architectural heritage deserves kitchens of equal character. We specialise in designing bespoke kitchens that complement Dunedin's distinctive homes - from Victorian villas to modern new builds.

Dunedin has some of the most distinctive architecture we work with anywhere in the country - Victorian and Edwardian villas across the central city and North Dunedin sitting alongside newer builds in Mosgiel and the growing suburbs. Designing for Dunedin usually means designing around an existing character home first and a blank-canvas new build second, which shapes almost every project brief we get from the city.

We don't have a Dunedin showroom, so projects run on the same remote model we use for the rest of the South Island outside Queenstown: a free video consultation and 3D design process, then our team travels from Frankton for the measure-up and again for the install.

Character villas around the city dictate a lot of the cabinetry decisions - high stud heights, decorative cornices, and non-standard room proportions that a generic flat-pack layout won't sit well against. We spend more time on the initial measure-up for a typical Dunedin villa renovation than we would on an equivalent new-build kitchen, because getting the cabinetry to sit correctly against period detailing takes real measurement, not assumption.

From central-city villas to Mosgiel and Green Island new builds, Dunedin clients get the 10-year workmanship warranty and free consultation as anywhere else - the distance from Queenstown just means we plan the two site visits carefully rather than dropping in casually.

We work as both kitchen designer and cabinet maker for every Dunedin project - one team designs, manufactures, and installs, so there's no handoff between a separate designer and cabinet maker where measurements or intent can get lost in translation.

Before the consultation, see what a new kitchen costs in NZ and compare kitchen layouts.
